American Gangster

My Husband and I saw "American Gangster", truly don't understand all of the hype. Of course Denzel Washington did an excellent job, but the movie itself, lacked something. (put aside the fact, that we saw the camera crew microphone on the top of the screen more times than we could count). Too bad his "Best Actor" nomination for the Golden Globe wasn't for "The Debaters", because I would really hate to see this fine actor receive yet another award for playing a character that we see on the 5 o'clock news everyday.
